Fear less. Do more. Allow your heart to guide your dreams. Live with hope and always remember your roots. Achieve your bliss. I love that God blessed me with a constant curiosity to learn, discover, and explore. I love capturing memories, from which that moment’s beauty and laughter can be relived over and over again. I love to travel and experience. I’ve been able to renew my spirit daily through the grace that God extends into my life. My family and I reflect each other in our flaws, beauty, and originality. One of my favorite ways to be present is to sit back and enjoy the simple moments with a coffee in hand.

But the pleasant thing is to wake early, throw open the window, and lie reading in bed.

Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now.

Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.

—Lao Tzu (via thresca)

The more I travel, the more confident I am that despite all our many differences in this world, there are at least two things aside from love that almost every human craves: To laugh and to be inspired. And when you really think about it, the best love is that which fills us with laughter and inspiration.

I remember when I was younger and I wanted to be beautiful; now I’m older and I want to be intelligent. I want to burn hearts with brilliance and engulf souls with compassion. I want to be loved for my thoughts and nothing else.
